As a child, I loved two things best: books and the beach.

It made sense, then, that I dreamt of growing up to be either an author or a marine biologist. As it turned out, science didn’t end up being a strength of mine…
but thankfully, writing did.

Now, I write stories of all sorts — mostly for kids and their families, for both the page and the stage. 

I work across genres and on multiple projects at once, with fourteen+ writing tabs open across two computers at any given time. I am always brainstorming, creating or editing — my busy ADHD brain is never bored.

My colorful, chaotic office is filled with sticky notes, giant teacups, piles of paper, clever rabbits and my loyal pair of outrageously furry dogs. 

The beach is still my favorite place…to write, of course — just not to study!
